The Bose Acoustimass is a home-theater speaker system with small cube speakers that connect directly to a Bose bass module, which then connects to a pair of speaker terminals on an audio-video receiver such as an Onkyo. Tow-strand speaker wire connects to the red and black (positive and negative) terminals on the back of each speaker in the Acoustimass system as well as to the Onkyo receiver. Bose recommends 18-gauge speaker wire for connects up to 50 feet between the bass module and receiver.
